I've always loved elephants also. I think they are adorable though they are so huge, and seem to have such gentle souls. One great story, but if you're like me it will make you cry alot, is Modoc: The True Story of the Greatest Elephant That Ever Lived by Ralph Helfer.

due to a wrist injury, i haven't drawn all week! its starting to feel better, so I thought I'd at least post something for last friday's Illo Friday: Sea. Please excuse the type showing through, as I just doodled this on the back of a scrap paper!
