Revision of lost ball illustration

Here is a revision of that picture. I changed the orientation, as my book layout is vertical. After a critique with my teacher, i've moved Zuzu so that she is not cropping the boy's leg right at the bottom. I also fixed the fence and the back of her hair which was bugging me and gave the boy at the back some hair. I picked up some great new colored pencil colors too!

Wednesday before Thanksgiving

So, its wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, and although I have a list 3 pages long of things I need to do to get ready for my Parents' arrival tomorrow morning for the holiday weekend, I decided to create a blog! I'm stepping right onto the information superhighway! My username was already taken, and I'm pretty sure it was by me... I think I set up a blog a while ago and never figured out how to post anything on it! Oh well... here I am now! Look for future posts of my daily doodles, drawings and paintings. And, Happy Thanksgiving!

The Vegan Naked Pirate

Last week, Mickie and I went to the Draw-a-thon at Fix. As we were drawing the models in their wacky costumes and scenes, we came to the Pirate. I was enjoying his hat, his cuffs, his sword, but when I got to his naked butt, I burst out in laughter! (note: there was wine involved!) When I told my mom the story, she thought I said "Vegan Pirate", not "Naked Pirate." Hillarious... or maybe its just my sense of humor!
